Introduction
EDGBL Ltd., trading as EDIS Global, is responsible for the processing described in this policy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your data on www.edisglobal.com and manage.edisglobal.com. Browsing or using our services does not by itself constitute consent to optional advertising measurement.
Data Collection
Types of Data Collected
Personal Information includes name, email, address, phone number, and payment details such as VAT ID, credit card, or bank details.
Usage Data includes IP address, browser type, and timestamps when you access our services.
How Data Is Collected
Data is collected directly through forms, purchases, or support inquiries. It is also collected automatically via cookies, analytics tools, or server logs.
Purpose of Data Use
Your data is used for providing services, such as setting up and managing your account, delivering VPS hosting, and ensuring functionality. It is also used for communication to respond to inquiries and send updates about our services. Compliance with legal requirements, including tax regulations and data retention laws, is another purpose.
Data Sharing
We share data with service providers such as payment processors and hosting providers, and with authorities where legally required. With your consent, we also send the advertising-measurement data described below to Google Ads. We do not sell your personal data.
Cookies
Overview
Cookies are small files stored on your device that help us provide a better online experience. Some cookies are essential for our website to function, while others help us improve our services.
Types of Cookies Used
Necessary Cookies ensure the website works properly. For example, Intercom cookies power our customer chat tool, which provides real-time support and communication.
Optional Cookies are used for analytics and tracking website performance. These require your consent.
Managing Cookies
Use Privacy settings on www.edisglobal.com or manage.edisglobal.com to allow or reject the advertising measurement described below. You can also manage cookies in your browser; blocking necessary session cookies may affect account or checkout functions. The advertising-measurement choice does not control unrelated services such as the support messenger.
Google Ads advertising measurement
With your consent, EDGBL Ltd. measures which Google advertisements lead to paid VPS orders across www.edisglobal.com and our WHMCS client portal, manage.edisglobal.com. This optional measurement relies on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can browse, order and use your services if you reject it. This integration does not cover EDIS.AT or EDBB.
Information collected and sent
An advertisement may add a click identifier (gclid, gbraid or wbraid) to the address of the landing page. The website may temporarily hold that identifier in page memory while awaiting your choice; it will not use a pending identifier more than 30 minutes old. This integration does not save the click to its cookies or database, or send it to Google, without a valid permission. Ordinary website requests and server logs are separate from this measurement.
After permission is confirmed, the website can pass the identifier to the client portal in the same browser. We retain it in the checkout session and link it to the order placed in that session. For an eligible, accepted order whose initial invoice is paid, we send Google Ads the click identifier, a random transaction reference, net order value excluding VAT, currency, payment time and advertising-data consent status.
This integration does not send your name, email address, postal address, visitor IP address, card or bank details to Google. It does not enable personalized advertising or remarketing; the personalization permission is set to denied. The identifiers are pseudonymous, not anonymous: Google may match the click to information it already holds. We do not attribute historical paid orders to advertisements without a recorded click and valid consent.
Cookies and retention
The secure edis_ads_choice cookie on manage.edisglobal.com remembers your allow or reject choice for 90 days. It contains a random reference rather than your name or account details. The associated consent record includes the choice, notice version, timestamps and expiry. Session cookies and a security token help save and protect your choice across the website and client portal.
A captured click can be linked to an order for up to 24 hours in the same checkout session. Local click-to-order records expire 90 days after capture; consent records expire 90 days after the choice. Scheduled cleanup removes expired records. Separate import receipts support duplicate prevention, troubleshooting and corrections and are not automatically deleted after 90 days. Billing retention is described below. Google's retention is governed by its own policies; our local expiry does not erase Google's records.
Google and international processing
Google Ads receives this measurement data. Google's published advertising terms identify Google Ireland Limited as the relevant Google controller for users in the European Economic Area (EEA).
Google may process data in the USA and other countries, using the Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses where applicable.

Changing or withdrawing your choice
Open Privacy settings and select Reject to stop future measurement uploads based on that permission. Withdrawal does not automatically delete events already sent to Google or legally required billing records. Contact support@edisglobal.com for help with an erasure or other data request. Changing your choice in one browser does not change a choice made in another browser or device.
Data Retention
Retention Periods
Contract Data is retained for 7 years to comply with tax obligations. Purchase Records are kept for 10 years to meet product liability requirements.
Your Rights
Where applicable under the GDPR, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Contact support@edisglobal.com to exercise your rights. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, including the authority in Cyprus or in the EU country where you live or work.
Data Security
We use SSL encryption and other security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access or breaches.
Acceptable Use Policy
Your use of our services is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). This includes rules against hosting illegal content, sending spam emails, engaging in network attacks like DDoS, and violating intellectual property rights. Violating the AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Please review it periodically.
