Start with the infrastructure your service needs
Standard KVM VPS plans support commercial VPN deployments. Choose resources for your protocol, encryption workload, packet rate and traffic profile. You manage the VPN application and your customer relationships; our team operates the underlying infrastructure. A special VPN plan is not required simply because you sell access to customers.
Host connectivity is shared between VPS instances. Dedicated Internet access and custom committed-bandwidth arrangements are not available for VPS deployments; test the complete path and agree large rollout quantities and timing in advance.
Buying or renting hardware versus virtual infrastructure
Buying hardware requires upfront spending on servers, spare parts and hosting arrangements. Renting dedicated servers avoids the purchase but still commits you to the capacity of whole machines. With either approach, component failures, repair coordination and recovery time can interrupt service and affect customer satisfaction.
With EDIS Global, start with selected VPS plans and locations from an existing network of 50 locations. Add instances or upgrade resources as demand grows. EDIS Global operates and maintains the underlying physical infrastructure; you manage the VPN software, customer service, monitoring and recovery planning. Include backups and service redundancy in your design.
Integrate deployment into your production systems
Connect the Order and Management APIs to your provisioning workflow, customer platform or internal tools. Your automation can order new VPS instances, apply configuration and manage lifecycle operations as demand grows. This supports both a new VPN business and an established production network. A practical example: one VPS per subscriber
Keep the VPS services in your provider account and give each subscriber access only to your VPN. After checking location stock and confirming payment, order a standard Linux image with an SSH public key. When installation is complete, let Ansible or your own scripts configure the VPN, create the subscriber credentials and test a connection from the target network before delivery.
Provisioning starts near-real-time after payment confirmation; Linux installation normally takes another 3–5 minutes, including updates from distribution mirrors. Custom images and VPN configuration add time. Custom Cloud-Init user data is currently available on reinstall, not in the initial order; the Order API is available after registration, while Management API access requires one VPS.

Choose locations by routes and customer demand
Our network offers around 50 locations, including Zurich, two Stockholm facilities, Seville, Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo. Check current plan availability and discuss larger deployments with us. Test published addresses and Looking Glass tools from the networks your customers actually use. Geographic proximity and a local speed test alone cannot establish end-to-end VPN performance.
Plan primary and additional IPv4 addresses
We offer primary IPv4 replacements and up to 10 additional IPv4 addresses per VPS. Standard allocation is automatic and does not guarantee a different subnet. With bespoke selection, choose from the addresses and prefixes available at the hosting location. Tell us how many distinct /24 prefixes you need before ordering; inventory varies by location. Understand what an IP replacement can do
An IP replacement cannot guarantee access from Russia or through any particular ISP: EDIS Global prefixes may already be blocked, and restrictions can change or affect a whole prefix or protocol. Third-party platforms set their own access and reputation rules, so access to individual websites, residential IP classification and CAPTCHA-free browsing are not guaranteed. Standard paid primary-IP changes are automated in real time after request and payment; the old IP stops working immediately. Configure the replacement and update your VPN endpoint settings and relevant DNS records.
Pro tip: Larger VPN providers often automate node replacement through the Order API: they provision a new VPS with a new IP address, then use their own deployment workflow to configure it and register it in their VPN platform. After testing the new node, they can switch traffic to it and retire the old VPS.
Budget for incoming plus outgoing traffic
Traffic is counted at the VPS network interface as incoming plus outgoing. For a forwarding VPN workload, approximately 100 GB received and 100 GB sent counts as approximately 200 GB, with protocol overhead affecting the total. For initial planning, 1 TB delivered to end users therefore represents roughly 2 TB of metered traffic, not a guaranteed conversion for every workload. Estimate effective cost per delivered TB using the VPS price, additional IP costs and expected Pool Traffic purchases divided by your expected delivered volume.
Traffic metering and monthly refills
Keep capacity available with Traffic Pool
Each VPS has its own monthly traffic cycle. A shared Traffic Pool provides an additional reserve across your account. Auto-Hydration assigns traffic from the existing Pool balance at 99% usage when enabled and sufficiently funded; it does not buy more traffic automatically. Unassigned Pool Traffic does not expire; unused assigned traffic expires at the VPS’s next monthly refill. When the allowance and approximate 5% grace are exhausted, the VPS is normally rate-limited to approximately 1 Mbps, with no automatic overage charge. Assign sufficient traffic, complete a qualifying plan upgrade or wait for the refill to restore full speed.

Operate a responsible commercial service
Maintain authentication, server security and a monitored abuse contact. You are responsible for traffic generated by your customers and for stopping prohibited activity. Reseller guidance requires action on abuse messages within 24 hours, but serious incidents may require immediate restrictions; this is not a guaranteed grace period. Review the AUP and outbound SMTP policy. Registration, verification and available payment methods are handled under the current account and payment policies.

Commercial VPN hosting: your questions answered
Yes. You can operate multiple VPS under one EDIS Global account and give each paying subscriber a separate VPS with its own dedicated static IPv4. Subscribers do not need our control panel; you remain responsible for payment, administration, security, customer support and abuse response under our Acceptable Use Policy.
No. Commercial VPN providers can use standard KVM VPS plans without a separate reseller application or buying dedicated hardware, subject to normal account eligibility and verification. EDIS Global maintains the underlying hardware; you choose the locations, resources and traffic allowances your service needs.
